We’re wading through an Aquarian Age and astrology is here for the long haul, my friends. All of a sudden it seems like everyone is a low-key astrologer with apps and memes in their arsenal of astro-party tricks. And hey! I’m happy to have you all along with me. It wasn’t easy to find someone engage with about astrology with 6-years ago, and now I can comfortable strike up a conversation about the upcoming eclipses or Venus Retrograde with my barista.
The question I get asked most in my work is, how do I learn astrology? Which is a very valid question. But just like really wanting to learn how to speak Spanish — it may be easy enough to pick up the vocab words, but once you throw in tenses and verbs into the mix your brain short circuits.
You can start anywhere! ← AHH! Isn’t that anxiety inducing?
There are endless resources — books on book on books. But let’s be real, astrology is complicated and self-directed textbook learning is boring. And if you wanted to learn from a book, you would have.
But here’s the thing, this big daunting source of insight with riches and wonders and mysteries and adventure is waiting for you to play with it. And I mean play. Since when does learning have to be so serious? 🤡
As a Montessori kid through-and-through, I reject the sedentary classroom ennui and the incessant flipping through textbooks. BORING! I want to guide you through the (fun)dementals of astrology using play and imagination. Allowing the keywords we’re all too familiar with, to be a jumping-off point to build a deeper relationship with astrology through myth, story, and archetype.
As a professional, I can tell you with my whole heart that nothing that I’ve learned in a book can hold a candle to the astro-education that just being a person in the world has offered me.
After this course, you’ll have the tools to bear witness to astrology as it lives and breathes all around you. And let me tell you, it’s pretty cool.
This is the vibe we’re going for ☻
you are astro-curious at any level
you are neurodivergent
you are an experiential learner
you don’t have a ton of time for sit-down-and-learn learning
you are proficient in astrology, but you’d like to enrich the foundations of your astro-knowledge. (this course is truly truly truly for all levels. Even the pros haven’t been taught like this)
you like to have a good time with good people learning cool stuff
if you school notebooks looked like this:
